Hi Dan (and Alex),
The main reason I suspected Tiger was one of your posts back in November
stating:

“To clarify, FusionPro is not officially supported on Mac OS X 10.5
Leopard. While you may find that all or parts of the product may indeed
function in that environment, we have not fully tested or certified it.
So I recommend staying with 10.4 (Tiger) for FusionPro Desktop, until we
release a version that does support 10.5 (Leopard). We are working on
this issue and Acrobat 8 support currently and will issue updates soon.”

However, the one difference between my two machines is that the old
machine had Acrobat 7, but the new machine has Acrobat 6 (it’s a long
story), which I’m feverishly working to upgrade to Acrobat 7.
It DOES make sense that the new Mac OS (and FP) may work better
with Acro 7 than 6.
Since you’re having good success with FP in Mac OS 10.5
(with the caveats you stated), then I’ll make the upgrade then see how it
works.
I AM using Suitcase (font management software), as I always have -
which I assume is OK.

Thank you both for your quick response.

Todd
