Question:
Can someone give some insight on how to accomplish populating variable
paragraphs?
Sure. There are several ways you can do this. One is to create some
Formatted Text Resources and use a rule to bring in whichever ones are
needed for each record. Another is to type the contents of the
paragraphs as literal strings in a rule.
Question 2:
Is anyone familiar with how to reference variable fields within
variable
paragraphs?
Is this out of the spectrum of FP?
This is about the most basic thing that FusionPro does. If you're
using Formatted Text Resources, you just add the variable fields into
the Text Editor, just like in a text frame. Take a look at the Cell
Phone tutorial for some examples of this. If you're adding the
contents in a rule, you can use the Field function to return variable
field data along with other text.
