We use only hp ppml on our INDIGO 5000
We have a Indigo 5000 its been awhile since we did this but we changed
the variable data ticket so the 4 color folder templates was the
variable data folder. Then in the 4 color template folder we create a
new folder that has the job number we compose the ppml to this folder
and in the hp Ppml options we chose this folder as the place to write
external graphics to. You cant put more than one ppml job in that
folder because it creates a specific pst30.dos file for that job.
It takes a little management but it works every time like this
