Hi Steve,
Try flattening the file then make the PDF. I had something similar with a
shadow and flattening the file first worked for me.

Subject: [fusionpro] Fusion Pro Screwing Up Gradients
There's a gradient background in a file I'm trying to print. When I
print from the pdf with the text blocks, etc (the template), the
gradient renders beautifully on our KM C500/Creo setup. After I
compose it to a pdf, the gradient prints with some ugly banding.
Any hints?
(I'm off to try other file formats while I await a response...)
