Go to the rules editor, and scroll down through the list of pre- installed rules to the one for "sequential numbering." It will ask how many digits you want (including leading zeroes), and will make the rule for you. You can click on the tab to show the javascript, if you're curious (and you can change the code if you need to start at other than "1").
