Hello everyone, We understand that there is considerable interest in the FusionPro 5.1 release for Mac which will bring much needed support for Mac OS 10.5, Acrobat 8 Mac, and InDesign CS3 Mac.
Based on how our QA testing and final Development efforts on this release goes, we are currently looking at an early to mid-March of the 5.1 product. The team has been working diligently on this release and have made a number of changes to the underlying sub-components of the FusionPro product to accommodate the most recent hardware and software changes that both Apple and Adobe have introduced. Also, you may have heard that Adobe has released the 8.1.2 patch for the Acrobat 8 product. This patch, just released this month, makes the Acrobat 8 product "fully compatible" with Mac OS 10.5. The previous 8.1.1 version from Adobe was not fully compatible with 10.5 (which Apple released in November of 2007). We are working with this new version of Acrobat 8 in Development and QA and recommend that all of our Mac 10.5 customers use this 8.1.2 version of Acrobat with the upcoming FusionPro 5.1 release. We will definitely make news of the 5.1 release public on this forum when we have a more definitive date for release.
