I'm not real skilled at this, but could you use one of the rules below
and make the spaces part of the phone title/label. That way if the
number is not used the spaces will hidden along with the title/label?
//this JavaScript will produce a string like "Mobile: 234-234-2344" if
the field "phone1" contains a value.
//If the field phone1 does not contain a value, the function returns
nothing.
if (Field("phone1") == "")
return "";
else
return 'Mobile: '+Field("phone1");
//or
