Hello Everyone,
I have a javascript rule that takes the email field and counts the
character length. If there are more than 40 characters it will add a
line break after the @ symbol. I have a business card template that has
a similar need. However, I'm unsure how to edit the javascript to
accomplish what is needed. I was hoping that someone could help me edit
the following rule to accommodate this need. Thanks in advance for any help!
NEW TEMPLATE NEED: The business card template that I'm building needs to
count the character length (including spaces) for the SUM of the name
and title field. If the TOTAL character length of these fields together
is greater than 40 characters then I need the following return: Name
<BR> Title. If the total character length of these fields together is
less than or equal to 40 characters I need the following return: Name,
Title (Return the two fields on the same line separated by a comma and
space.
Current Rule that I need help editing:
if(Field("Email").length > "35")
{
return ReplaceSubstring(Field("Email"), "@", "@<br>");
}
else
{
return Field("Email");
}
