Hello Carrie,

You did not specify whether this issue was on a Mac or PC.
Also are you using font management software on this system?
By default FusionPro looks to the system font folder to see
what fonts are available. It then copies these fonts to its own
directory structure. There is no need for you to modify the path
to the font location. Modifying this path may present some unforseen problems
and may necessitate reinstallation of the software.

Please use the following information to see if this resolves your issue.

>From the Acrobat "Advanced" menu option, select "Use Local Fonts".

Then, from the FusionPro menu in Acrobat, select "FusionPro>>Advanced>>Load
Fonts".
Quit Acrobat, then reopen it.

Check to make sure your fonts are selectable in your Text Frame Properties of
FusionPro.

Also search for the following files and view in a text editor:

Fonts.ini

Fonts.err

See if there are any errors in reference to the fonts.

Also look in the fonts.ini to see if the font name is listed and correctly
identified.

-HTH

Subject: [fusionpro] Font Recognition

Has anyone had the problem that their barcodes will not load even though they
are loaded in the FusionPro Preferences folder and FusionPro Font Directory is
pointed towards that folder? I seems to be loading fonts from another folder
even though we have told it to look for the "Fonts" folder in the FusionPro
Preferences folder. Any ideas??

Thank you,
Carrie Pries
