Hello Everyone,
I have an upcoming project where I will be creating a template that will
need to utilize formatting for a 2 variable time fields (a start time
and an end time). The client has expressed that they would like the time
to always be formatted in a very specific way. I'm unsure how to
accomplish this and was hoping that I could ask for suggestions and help
with the javascript before I begin the project.
The template is a postcard that will be mailed as a way to notify people
of an upcoming event. The template will always need to include a time
start and end that also indicates am/pm. below is how the client would
like the time start to time and end time to always appear:
X:XX am/pm - X:XX am/pm
(hour, colon, minutes, space, either am or pm lowercase without periods)
- (hour, colon, minutes, space, either am or pm lowercase without periods)
Does anyone know of a way to ensure that this formatting always happens?
I know that with such a large group of people ordering there are a lot
of ways that the time can be entered. For example if someone enters 4
P.M. I would still need it to appear as (4:00 pm).
