Hi, I am tracking an issue with Xerox related to ppml files output on igen3 printers with docusp interfaces. The issue we are tracking, is that the igen3 will periodicly generate one blank side of a double-sided sheet during output, and will cause the remainder of the double-sided sheets in the stack to have an incorrect front with an incorrect back. When we find an error stack during QC, we just re-que exact same file and it prints correctly. Have extensively worked with Xerox on all igen3 que settings, ppml settings and other RIP settings. We generally generate this issue once in a printrun that has 40,000-50,000 double-sided sheets with the stream chunked into 250 sheet ppml files generated with fusion pro desktop 5.1P1a, windows, acrobat 8.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this caching issue with ppml output and igen3/docusp interfaces.
