I have an odd project where we are imaging in-line on a web press using 2 inkjet heads. The heads are (1) 3" and (1) 9" Versamark head. Due to the different sizes and the size of the piece we'd like to run the 3" inkjet head 3up. The finished piece size is 6x10, and the 3up would be 10" wide and 18" tall, so the address block would be rotated 90 degrees. Now the problem is the 9" head. Due to stock paper size we want to run the 9" head 2up, at a press sheet size of 6" wide and 20" tall. So a basic 2up document, but my PDF output from Fusion Pro would have to be Page 1: 3UP 10x18, Page 2: 2UP 6x20, Page 3: 3UP 10x18, Page 4: 2UP 6x20 ect...you see the trend. I then put this PDF through our conversion software to assign the PDF's odd pages to the 3" inkjet rip, and the even pages to the 9" inkjet rip. I don't see how this will be possible, but hopefully somebody has a solution for me.
