I'm trying to do a "gate" or a "booklet" styled imposition of a four page document, but I need a 1" gap in between the pages (4 imposed 8.5x11" pages on a, 11x18 sheet of paper). We want to do this to simplify a two-page match mailing. We will take that 11x18, fold it and trim .5" in from the fold to give us the correct match for the final mail piece in the envelope.
I know that I can set this up as an 11x18 template with the pages already imposed, but I wondered if there was a way to cause a 1 inch middle gap to appear leaving the original template as 4 separate 8.5x11 pages. I tried using FP Imposer, but the only two setting that gave me the correct page order layout (either saddle-stitch or side by side gate) does not allow for a gap in between the pages. Has anyone figured out how to alter .fpi gap setting? David A. Sweet HKM Direct Marketing Communications +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- FusionPro 5.0 Now Available!
