Thought I would post this because I was finally able to fix my issues with
Zip Codes with this rule.
Sometimes the data we get from clients will have zip codes that have
leading zeros (that excel drops out, if not properly formatted) AND the 9
digit zips (zip+4). This rule works with both.
I am not exactly sure why/how it works, but it does. I am sure there is
more than one way to write a fix for this as well, but it works so I am
using it. Here it is:
textContent = Field("Zip")
textSize = Len(textContent);
if (textSize > 5)
return textContent;
else
return FormatNumber(LeadingZero, Field(Var1));
