Hello Everyone,
I have a business card that will contain one variable text frame that
will hold all of the variable information that will be printed on the
card (name, titles, address, phone, email, etc.)
I know how to apply the OnCopyFit rule to a variable graphic frame so
that the text within the frame will reduce when it is too long to fit
within the frame. However, this customer wants the OnCopyFit rule to be
used for ONLY the email address when it gets to long. She does not want
the rule to reduce anything else within the frame. I thought that the
OnCopyFit rule was an all or nothing situation where it either applies
to everything within the frame or does not apply to the frame at all. I
cannot simply place the email address in a frame all by itself because
it falls at the end of the paragraph and a lot of the variable
information above it is optional. Therefore the email must be contained
in the same frame to allow it to shift up and down when other fields are
suppressed.
Does anyone know if it is possible to apply the OnCopyFit rule, to ONLY
one variable field within a text frame and not apply the rule to
everything else within the frame??
