Hi, I have a mail piece that i've used the postnet barcode rule on. The barcode comes out fine except on the 3 digit mail pieces where the barcode is usually shorter. On the 5 digit it looks normal, 62 bars and all that. On the 3 digit it has a tall bar on the left then there is about a quarter inch of space, then there is the shortened barcode, another quarter inch and the other tall bar.
I was wondering why it adds the spaces in there and if it will be ok at the post office? I don't understand why it doesn't all just left allign like a normal barcode. Anyone have any ideas?
