Did you have any luck with the vstraddle attribute? Another thing I remembered: you can also use a <page> tag to force a page break, like so:
<page destination=topofpage> I don't think you can use this tag within a table, but you can certainly use it between tables. Similarly, the <p> tag has a verticalstart attribute which will force a page break: <p verticalstart=topofpage> This can also be used to force a paragraph to a particular side of an Overflow page set (Left or Right).
