I have a PDF file that was exported from InDesign. The variable data fields (all text boxes, no javascript rules) have been set up.
The document is linked to a csv file with 500 records. When composing as vdx, fusion pro and acrobat completely shut down (disappear) after composing a few records. If I compose as pdf, it works fine ... but I don't want a 1,000 page pdf file. I need vdx for my Nexpress. Using FusionPro 5.1 on Acrobat 7.1 on Windows XP Pro. Any suggestions on what I can do to troubleshoot? (By the way ... when we asked Kodak if we could upgrade to FusionPro 5 (we were still using 4.2), Kodak mentioned that they are not yet supporting FusionPro 5 and they SPECIFICALLY mentioned something about vdx files. Well, in the last few weeks they announced support, so we purchased the upgrade) I wonder if I should downgrade to 4.2 and try to compose vdx again.
