Thanks for the feedback on this issue. There is a problem I am still having if you CHECK the checksum digit box versus leaving it unchecked. The barcode will encode wrong. The only way to get it close to encoding correctly is having the checksum digit checked, the problem there is that it adds 2 extra digits to the barcode, a zero right after the start character and a variable digit before the end character. Having this option checked, the client cannot tag their supplied database due to the fact that it added digits in the barcode. The checksum digit box not checked will result in a very long nonencoded barcode that will not scan the scanner. The results of this barcode is that it is about 20-25 digits long and looking at the human readable numbers they do not match the barcode. The database I am attempting to encode has 12 digits in the barcode. If I have the checksum digit on the barcode will be 14 digits long + the start and stop characters. Whats you idea on this....
