As to the errors at composition time, this is a problem we are aware of and we have a fix for the upcoming 5.8 Mac release. The workaround for now is to shut down both the Acrobat and FusionPro applications, then go to /Library/Preferences/Printable/FusionPro and delete the FusionPro Preferences file. Then start up the FusionPro application before starting Acrobat. Once you do this, the problem should go away.
