Howdy there -
If you don't have the font but need it I believe i can get you the fonts -
either supplied by printable or the ones used by out mailing dept. For the
majority of those types of fonts - they require book end characters to have
them read the barcode correctly - and that may be a '!' or '*' or a '(' and ')'
That is what i believe the make code it actually doing - just concatenating the
( and ) characters to the line.
If you just have a tst file open you could try to change the barcode data to
that - or put other bookends characters there and you should get the same
response as 3.2.
You could also prep your data in excel prior getting it into fp as well - it
should just be something like =concatenate("(",a1,")") - where your data would
be in a1.

Subject: [fusionpro] 128 barcode
We recently upgraded to 4.1 from 3.2 and are having difficulty producing a
128 barcode correctly. Under old version of FP we used make128barcode
function in a rule and applied the IDAutomation128 font. We no longer
have the appropriate fonts to do it this way with the new load. I tried
using the rule editor wizard for 128 barcode but did not get good results.
