I think I have bad news for you. From what I understand about these
rules, the ExternalDataFile function is only useable in OnRecordStart or
OnJobStart rules, and neither of these callback rules can return a
value. I think the ReportWarning entry may be o.k., but the returns of
Sig_Pic or the "Blank.pdf" will not fly.
