Asked a fellow programmer about this, but I have other questions.

We create our templates off line and then move the template and all
resource folders to a "live" web-site to be used by our clients. However
when looking at some of the .def files on the live site, I noticed they
still point to the off-line locations.

My colleague informed me that the .cfg file takes precedence over the .def
file for location when a template is sent via DL_Queue to our FP Server.
Does this also include all internally loaded resources that might be
pointing to this off-line location?

Also, to preserve the sanity of my boss who thinks that if I unplug or
shutdown my computer that all references to these items may be lost, if I
simply edit the .def file and updated all pointer references to the new
template location folder on the "live" server, will that correct
everything.

I thought that I should have been able to just read in the template and
re-link all the input resources and output files to the new location them
simply re-compile. However, every attempt I made to re-link a resource to
the new server location was not accepted and the link was automatically
replaced by FusionPro back to the original off-line location.

Any feedback on this?
