Fixing this in Excel (directly in the data file) by formatting the column as Special -- Zip Code will work for the zip codes that need the leading zero, but it does not add a hyphen to the 9 digit zip codes.
Also it only seems to work when the files is saved as tab delimited text, as opposed to a comma delimited .csv file. I still would like to find a way to do this with Fusion Pro that can both add zeros to the zips that need them AND add hyphens to the 9 digit zips. If the data file was created by someone else who did not format the column correctly when the data was entered it will need to be fixed by either javascript in Fusion Pro, or using a few formulas in Excel. -- Users of FusionPro Desktop have unlimited free email support.
