Mike, Can't say that we've seen that before but I'm willing to check it out here in our lab if you can give me a bit more information such as:
The operating system - Windows or Mac The unit of measurement - Inches, Points, etc. - I'm assuming they're set the same on both InDesign and Acrobat Some before and after sample numbers for the text box shrinkage Is this also affecting the X and Y coordinates? If the above is true, you may want to make sure your text boxes in InDesign are positioned relative to the upper left corner. I don't think a particular font could have any affect but you might want to test this out on your end with another font.
