Kim,
You can use a split function like this:
offerformat = Field("Offer");
a = offerformat.split("%");
return a[0]
This uses the % symbol as a split character. By returning a[0] you are
returning the 1st value of the split. If you return a[1] you would get what
is in the 2nd position of the split. In this case you would get the word
'Off'.

So, now I have a question about replacing or stripping info.
I have a field that contains data such as 5% Off, 15% Off, 20% Off, etc.
I would like to parse out just the number. I know I can get rid of the %
with this:
percentvar=Field("Offer")
percentvar=percentvar.replace("%", "")
but I don't know how or if it's possible to add to the above so that I
could strip out the Off as well?
