Hi Lisa,
I've done it to test and play with using ODBC as a data source. As long as you
set up your DSN file correctly (and the process/file is different for each
database type), it works quite well.
In WIndows XP, go to the Control Panel and open Admin Tools. Then, start the
Data Sources utility and follow the directions to set up the DSN.
