We have a client that provided us with a text file that we exported into
Excel. Rather than have the entire record in one row, they have the record in 4 rows. Someone suggested that there is a "Merge" function in Excel that would allow us to move the data to the same row but we are coming up empty in trying to find out how that is done.Anybody familiar with that function or any other function that you can suggest to
resolve this dilemma?

1 John Smith street city state ZIP award 1
2 John Smith street city state ZIP award 2
3 John Smith street city state ZIP award 3
4 John Smith street city state ZIP award 4
5 Bill Jones street2 city2 state2 ZIP2 award 1
6 Bill Jones street2 city2 state2 ZIP2 award 2
7 Bill Jones street2 city2 state2 ZIP2 award 3
8 Bill Jones street2 city2 state2 ZIP2 award 4

What we need for our merge to work is:
1 John Smith street city state ZIP award 1 award 2 award 3
award 4
2 Bill Jones street2 city2 state2 ZIP2 award 1 award 2 award 3
award 4

Any suggestions or directions would be appreciated.
