I am trying to make business cards with all variable information. I was having trouble creating a Pantone color because it appears it would end up as CMYK. So I took a PDF of the image and placed it in Quark to have the Pantone come with it into Acrobat. I then used pitstop to remove the image and put my graphics box in its place. I've tried making 5 different records in Acrobat and collecting the info to upload, but it wouldn't take that. Then I tried doing just one image and used the image rule. It shows up on my Acrobat file but then when I go to upload it tells me it can't upload the files because of my rule. I used a wizard to create the rule so it should be right. I must've tried about 5 or 10 little tweaks today to get it to upload and a few times it gave me an idea of what the problem was and a few times just told me there was a problem and didn't elaborate. Is there something I should know about making the files in Acrobat that will help me not have so many problems uploading for variable items. I can make a single business card and put some variable text on it no problem.
