c'mon, I'm an old NVDA convener in the peace movement back in the days of 
yore... 

Just kicking around some thoughts for a SF story at the moment and it is 
an obvious nasty line of thought to pursue... this Angell posting happened 
to coincide perfectly with a line I was mulling over!

Though another nasty line of thought is that the corporates are allegedly 
not above contemplating - and using - similar methods, are they? Even if 
we can't prove it.
