I presume Hardin is one of the good ones. Or is he an
example of a non-economist doing good economics (my
"hidden agenda" here is that we are increasingly getting
into a condition where even having a PhD in a subject no
longer means you are "qualified" in that subject, but
rather it is your entry ticket to apply for post-doctoral
training...)?
