Anyone interested in community economic development may be interested in
attending Getting it Done: the second annual grassroots conference on
community investment. It will be held next week at Innis College on June 10
& 11, 1998.

Sponsored by Ellmen/Shaw Public Affairs, the conference explores a number of
themes on financing community economic development: the basics, community
partnerships, capital building, loan assessment and monitoring, legal issues
and marketing and promotion. Cost is $149.
