FYI -- the usual right-wing Endlosung to a political problem.
Conservatives where ever they may be in the 'end' propose the same kind
of solutions. In the U.S., such lust exists only in the heart, of course!

>>>> Tory MP calls for massacre of six hundred

A member of the British parliament yesterday called for the mass
murder of 600 people in one night as a final solution for
"dealing with the IRA".

Tory MP and "historian" Alan Clark was speaking at a fringe
meeting at the Conservative Party's annual conference. In the
question and answer session, one Tory supporter asked the MP how
he would handle the IRA.

The former British Cabinet minister replied: "The only solution
for dealing with the IRA is to kill 600 people in one night - let
the U.N. and Bill Clinton and everyone else make a scene - and it
is over for 20 years."

His call for the mass slaughter of nationalists was greeted with
scattered applause and some laughter at the meeting. The comments
are a repetition of suggestions Mr Clark has previously espoused
through articles and statements. Despite these and other
remarks, Mr Clark was this year again nominated by the
Conservative Party to contest the seat of Kensington and Chelsea,
which he succesfully retained.

Sinn Fein described Mr Clark "a has-been" but said his comments
were still "amazing". A senior party spokesman said Mr Clark's
ideas "might well reflect the attitude of the last British
administration". But he added: "The reality is that in 27 years a
military approach failed. The only way to build the peace is to
open an honest negotiation."

Tory Party chairman Lord Parkinson condemned Mr Clark's comments
on behalf of the party's leadership, which he described as
"wrong-minded" and "totally out of court".
