Global Social Justice: Globalization, social justice and sustainability

NEXUS GLOBAL SOCIAL JUSTICE: A NEW FORUM FOR POLICY DISCUSSION

Contemporary processes of social change are transforming the world, making
distant places and peoples increasingly interdependent. As the recent
White Paper on International Development argues, global challenges such
as eliminating poverty and preserving a sustainable environment cannot be
addressed by national governments alone. Global challenges require
cooperation, not just between states but also between people of different
states, forming a global community.

"Global social justice" is a new forum devoted to the development of
practical and imaginative ideas to respond to global challenges. This
forum has been developed as part of NEXUS, a UK-based organization of
people with an interest in contributing to the
development of public policy.

We would like to invite you - as a policy-maker, an academic, an activist,
or a global citizen - to participate.

If you have a web-browser, point it at

If you don't have a web browser you can subscribe to the e-mail discussion
list by sending the message:

You will then receive an e-mail introducing you to the forum.

Thanks for your attention. We look forward to hearing from you.
