Content is in the subject, but in case you didn't see it,
computer viruses in email are utter nonsense, for anyone who
is wondering. The only way to do damage from email is if you
have a mime-capable mail handler, receive mail with an executable
attachment compatible with your operating system, , and open and then
run it, something you should never do with programs coming in through
the mail, from a source you don't know. Note also that virus detection
programs won't complain about such a program, as it will be a simple
executable, not constructed with the stealth components of a virus.

Anyway, all such programs, viruses or otherwise, are machine specific,
and can't work on different operating systems, which is why the whole idea
is ludicrous. Most of these "email virus warnings" are outright hoaxes,
specifically designed to expose the naivete of those who pass them on.
