Of course I agree with you, but it is perhaps suggestive
(admonitory?) that [at least I believe the following
is correct:] our whole milieu of computing (PCs,
the Internet...) has its origin largely in the advances
made to calculate ballistics tables ca. WW-II. (Yes,
an other part was cryptography, which is also symbolically
apposite.... Decode and destroy....)
