Introduction of SOUL Welfare Organization
SOUL Welfare Organization is an NGO, non governmental, non political
and non religious organization registered by the Government of
Pakistan's relevant department:
Directorate of Social Welfare under the Voluntary Social Welfare
Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961), under
the registration No: 466/DDSW&WD/FSD/96; to support & promote the
community development at grass root level, established in 1991. It has
a history behind it which shows its swift progress in a short span.
SOUL Welfare Organization's main secretariat is in Faisalabad,
Pakistan. It is the main power house for the policy making, planning,
decision making, supervision and all other executive affairs, within
the limits declared by the legislature and executive body. Secretariat
and legislature are responsible for the legislation.
To make the developmental policies her modus operandi are information,
surveying, consultation, co-ordination, planing research, negotiation,
first hand knowledge, education, training, decision making, project
designing and its implementation. SOUL's target areas consists of
rural and urban areas but mainly its developmental programs are aimed
at the vicinities of Faisalabad.
Target Areas Of SOUL Welfare Organization
Asim town, Coryan, Saeed abad, Sundhoo town, Chaudhary park, Ghouse
nagar, Muhallah Farooqia, Shalimar park, Sohail abad, 224 Wazir khan,
Ali pur and Nisar colony.
Objectives Of SOUL Welfare Organization
* To motivate the community to for their socio-economic development.
* To promote sustainable development for community members.
* To organize, unite and stimulate the community members for their
own development.
* To decrease the tumultuous atmosphere into the atmosphere of peace
and calm by way of self determination and self conscious.
* To propagate a new thinking as a cosmopolitan agents in misfits of
society so that they could stand on their required position in
every society.
* To promote good environmental factors for fauna and flora.
* To establish a "Family Health Centre" for the community members
which would assist them for their clinical matters.
* To establish a computerized " General Information Centre" for all
the community members which would assist them in their problems.
* To establish a "Justice Panel" consisting of advocates to defend
the rights of wretched community members especially women from any
governmental or non governmental exploitation.
* To establish an "Advisor's Council" for young generation which
would guide them towards their right selection of games and
subjects regarding their academic life.
Developing Policy
* Involving the members of community in assessing the problems.
* Considering the root causes of the problems of community.
* Providing the awareness to the community members of target areas
through education and other scientific technology.
* Providing the chances to community members for the discussion of
their problems.
* Considering the existing resources primarily and external
resources secondarily.
* Providing the scientific skill to solve the problems, through
education, project designing and its implementation in certain
limits, to the people of community.
