(Eva:) Here is an advise from another "respected"
person:

....forwarded message......

First, you have to differentiate between the ones that are defintely bogus,
and the ones that might be for real. Any warning of the type "merely opening
this mail will trigger the virus" is bogus.

However, binary attachments to mail messages can and do carry viruses. If
you run an executable binary attachment without at least running it through
a decent virus scanner first, you're pretty much begging for trouble.

As much as the author would like to spend precious minutes of the rapidly-
dwindling time remaining in his life responding to your kind and thoughtful
letter about how he is going to spend eternity in a lake of fire being eaten
by rats, he regrets that he is unable to do so, due to the volume of such
mail received.
