I am amazed at the defiance and determination of the Saskatchewan nurses
at refusing to obey legisation forcing them back to for and also defying
a court order. Is this a setting a precedent? What do you think will
be the result?
Also the Toronto Transit workers are determined to make up for past
concessions in a strike treatened for midnight tonight. It will create
a nightmare of traffic congestion and chaos in the city.
The Bell Canada workers are not taking their plight lightly either.
There are lots of implications for the future of work here, workers
are saying that pushing them down for the sake of balanced budgets and
greater efficiency is not the way to go.
