But also, as [??] Dyson reminisced in _Disturbing the Universe_(?).
if the percent of bombs that fell in the target area
was less than the desired minimum, he was sometimes
instructed to increase size of the target area.  He also
wrote about a study conducted to find out
why British bomber crewmen had a lower survival rate
from crashes than Americans.  The study determined the
problem was that the British planes had smaller
escape hatches.  The study was classified because if the bomber
crewmen found out it would probably lower morale.

How could I ever forget such inspiring stories
from The Great Patriotic War?
