Queen to Visit Canada Despite Gov't Unrest

Queen Elizabeth II will arrive in Canada as scheduled on Tuesday despite the possibility the Canadian government might fall and be forced to call new elections during her stay, Buckingham Palace said.

 

The Queen is visiting Saskatchewan.  She'll be in no danger there.  What she will bring with her is tremendous photo opps for politicians.

Well, constitutionally yes, but we're well along the road as seeing her as Queen of England, nothing more.  Still it's nice of her to visit.  We've just had a Dutch princess here.  All are welcome!
