This morning I was disturbed to hear on the CBC 8:00 am report that one of the ideal installation sites for the proposed U.S. missile defense program is in Goose Bay, Labrador. The suggestion was that a shield or possibly radar equipment only is in the plan, and that U.S. company Raytheon is to do the work. The report stated that although talks between Canada and the U.S. had not actually resulted in any agreement, the U.S. proposal had not been ruled out. Perhaps you heard the report.

The reason this was particularly distressing was that just the other day I had visited the website called:
                           www.arcticbeacon.com
Greg Szymanski wrote an interesting article dated May 27, 2005, titled:
A-3 Military Jet Secretly Re-fitted With Missiles Just Prior To 9/11; Places More Doubt On Official Story That A Boeing 757 Hit The Pentagon

This story discusses the investigations of Karl Schwarz, one of the principle architects of the Republican takeover of Congress during the Clinton Presidency, who has pursued an avid interest in finding the truth about the WTC attacks. He has possibly uncovered video evidence that will prove that a 757 jetliner never hit the Pentagon. He has been told by two civilian defense contractors employees that they and others retro-fitted missiles and remote control systems onto A-3 jets at a Colorado public airport just prior to 9/11 in a highly secretive gov't operation. This was under the joint efforts of Hughes-Raytheon. Hughes manufactures the AGMs while Raytheon maintains the last few A-3 Sky Warriors in operation and also manufactures the Global Hawk UAV remote control systems.

The details are a good read, including the bit about five key Raytheon executives having died on board three of the four doomed 9/11 flights.

This could be a significant report, and if any of it is true, Canada could pay a dear price should its Defense Department or Prime Minister concede to U.S. influence.
