Talking about history textbooks:  Compare this oh-so-"Protectionist"
"pleasant little outpost of Europe" with countries that come closest(*) to
the "Free Market", and you'll see which one better protects the people
and the commons from big bullies.  Hint: There are no foodbanks (necessary)
here, nobody is freezing to death because he can't pay the heating and
nobody dies of appendicitis because he can't afford health insurance
-- in contrast to just a few examples from the great Free Market.

(*)  Of course you'll cop out with the old excuse that no country yet has
introduced a 100% Free Market, but anyone can see which ones come closest,
and the trends that accompany markets becoming less "protectionist".
