As far as meta-values of certain posters are concerned, mail filters enable
everyone to specifically tune out individual posters.  I rather suspect
that the leaving of some posters is due to a lack of resources or a general
tiredness of repetitiveness.  Perhaps Arthur has the numbers on lurker
fluctuations?
