Yes, it's rather amazing how the media are bashing Dubya for it, when both the town mayor and state governor are Dems. Even if Dubya cut the federal part of the levee and evacuation etc. funds, the local gov't(s) could and should have pitched in on these crucial investments for that area. I guess this shows how the Dems are just tweedledee to the Republicans.
