Almost everyone reading this will be familiar with Amazon’s marketing
tactic of showing online readers the “if you like this you’ll also like”, or
“readers who bought this also bought…”. Powell’s bookstore in Portland, Oregon, renowned for its collections
and convenient habit of putting used and older versions of books on the shelf
beside new ones, also has a partner program, where it lists collections of
books an organization recommends. Oregon Center for Public Policy has a collection that includes some
