I wonder if the CSR movement can be called a Maginot Line. While actually a fraud, CSR does seem to work (=impress the gullible masses). Note this paper was written 17 years ago and today the CSRM is still expanding. The Maginot Line failed 5 years after being built and immediately when needed.
