I've finished reading the whole 7 part investigative report
in the Cleveland Plain Dealer:

I highly recommend it as an admonitory lesson
of the Bush administration's treatment
of an eminent scientist -- this is a lot
more important than Wen Ho Lee (who
I believe was just a computer programmer) --
this Professor and M.D. was one of the
world's top plague researchers, and
the FBI destroyed his career and the
promise of further contributions to
fighting terrorism and terrible
diseases which he might --likely would --
otherwise have done. The threat to all
toxic biological materials researchers is also
emphasized.
Read it soon before it gets recategorized into
the "pay to read" domain.
