Doesn't look like that. Why do you think so? The U$ and ¤U farm subsidies may be higher in total, but they mostly go to the large factory farms. The EU accession of Austria in 1995 provided an impressive case study of how the EU destroys small farmers to the benefit of the large fatcats. (The situation in Switzerland is different (in favor of small farms), but just wait until the WTO and EU will ruin that...)
