Interesting link...  could it be that the you-know-what ritual
aims to "avoid the perils of idolatry" ?  Well, some seem to
regard the concerned body part as an idol, indeed...  ;-}

However, the you-know-what ritual doesn't seem to be effective in
avoiding that kind of idolatry... after all, Israel is the world's
#1 importer of prostitutes...  perhaps the you-know-what ritual
even promotes this idolatry by making the idol "last longer" ?
